2012 Conference Nozzle Forward
Nozzle Forward (Aaron Fields) is a two day course designed to craft more efficient engine companies by increasing the individuals competency with their tools and expanding on the conceptual aspects of the fire environment. The course will integrate the three major components of engine company work; hose and fire attack, and engine company tactics.
2012 Conference Rope Rescue Operations
Rope Rescue operations (Rescue City) three day course designed around NFPA 1670 Chapter 6 for Technical Rescue - Operations Level. Students will learn Ropse and Knots, descending, ascending, mechanicaal advatage, mid face picks, anchor systems, patient packaging, self rescue and low to steep angle scenarios. Students are to bring OUTDOOR attire for CURRENT weather conditions. Students may bring thier own NFPA compliant Class III full body harness. Students are required to bring hard hat, gloves, and safety shoes for loose slopes. Course starts Friday January 27 6:00pm-10:00pm, Saturday and Sunday all day.
2012 Conference Pump Operations
Pump Operations (Fire Service Repair) two day course designed to take you from basic pump operations to a new level of understanding water flow, trouble shooting and getting the best performance from the pump for a rural fire response. Students will learn how to operate a fire pump from draft, tender operations and relay pumping where water supply is limited. Students will need to bring PPE (no SCBA) and hearing protection for both days.
